Vashishth Doshi

Vashishth Doshi is a master’s student in public policy and data science at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College, where he has been a graduate teaching assistant for courses on responsible AI and on exploratory data analysis. His work sits at the intersection of AI governance, economics and public policy.
His recent projects include an audit of frontier model documentation that scored transparency across six leading models and argued binding rules should name the documentation artifacts they require rather than leave them to industry discretion. He also wrote a policy memo on data center infrastructure and ratepayer protection for the Berkeley AI Safety Initiative’s U.S. AI policy hackathon in February 2026. He interned in responsible AI and governance at BNY and holds a bachelor’s degree from Pandit Deendayal Energy University in India.
